Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Since our inception, Diversity and Inclusion have been a part of the fabric of who we are at Lippe Taylor. They’re more than just words for us. They’re the guide-posts for how we build our teams, break the bias of the norm, celebrate differences and create a company that’s the right fit for every person inside of it. We commit with purpose, embrace the differences, and celebrate how each of our different voices add value to creative solutions. As an inclusive workplace, our employees are comfortable bringing their authentic whole selves to work and do not feel as if they have to cover any part of their true selves.
Our founder & Chairwoman Maureen Lippe has historically endeavored to support the advancement of women in communications. Maureen was the creator of the PR Council’s highly successful SHEQUALITY project, which brings together female leaders from otherwise competing agencies to talk about how they can provide a path for more women to reach executive positions in the PR industry. Maureen has also spearheaded industry conversations on topics like equal pay, family leave, sexual harassment and the other myriad challenges facing ambitious and talented women in the PR industry.
Today, Lippe Taylor creates a place of belonging and ensures that we regularly do bias training beyond what is compliant and foster a culture of allyship and calling people out when their communications aren’t inclusive. We are proud partners with Paradigm for Parity®, a coalition of business leaders to addressing the leadership gender gap in corporate America and we are proud sponsors of the LaGrant Foundation, whose mission is to increase the number of ethnic minorities in the fields of advertising, marketing and public relations by providing scholarships, career & professional development workshops, mentors and internships to African American/Black, Alaska Native/Native American, Asian American/ Pacific Islander and Hispanic/Latino undergraduate and graduate students.
We are more than an equal opportunity employer; we strive to be the change we want to see in the world.
